Auxiliary Connection Protection for Outdoor EV Charging Equipment
Separate waterproof enclosures organize auxiliary power, communication and control connections beside an outdoor charging unit.

Application context
Charging equipment combines high-use public access with outdoor moisture and several cable systems. Auxiliary connections should remain separated from the user interface and accessible without dismantling the charger.
Enclosure and installation approach
Two sealed enclosures provide dedicated spaces for field terminations and auxiliary equipment. Pole mounting keeps them close to the charger, while bottom cable glands and flexible conduit establish controlled, serviceable cable routes.
Maintenance value
The modular arrangement supports easier commissioning and future maintenance while keeping weather-exposed connections outside the main charging cabinet protected.
- Defined enclosure location beside the protected equipment
- Controlled cable routing through sealed entry points
- Accessible layout for inspection and future service
